As the nations and international organizations for the Outreach session arrived, Italy’s Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni presented her warm greeting to Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a new member of the Group of Seven (G7). On Thursday night, PM Modi travelled to Apulia, Italy, late at night in order to join the G7 Outreach Summit.
Along with meeting President Volodymyr Zelenskyy of Ukraine, Prime Minister Rishi Sunak of the United Kingdom, and President Emmanuel Macron of France, PM Modi also conducted bilateral discussions with each leader of the G7.
According to PM Modi’s departing statement, he is “glad that his first state visit in the third consecutive term is to Italy for the G7 Summit.” The Prime Minister further spoke about his earlier trip to Italy and Prime Minister Meloni’s journey to India, both of which have made a big difference in strengthening bilateral bonds.
