Multiple Pakistani Drones Enter LoC in Jammu and Kashmir; Indian Army Shoots Down All Intrusions

Drone Intrusion Detected Along LoC

Multiple drones originating from across the Line of Control (LoC) were detected entering Indian airspace in Jammu and Kashmir late Sunday night, triggering an immediate security response. The intrusions were identified through surveillance systems deployed along sensitive forward areas.

Indian Army Neutralises All Drones

According to official defence sources, troops of the Indian Army engaged counter-drone measures and successfully shot down all the intruding drones before they could cause any damage. No casualties or material losses were reported.

Security Measures Activated

Following the detection, the Army intensified night patrols and activated aerial and ground-based monitoring systems across multiple sectors. Anti-drone units were placed on high alert to prevent any follow-up attempts.

What Authorities Are Examining

Security agencies are investigating:

  • the number of drones involved
  • their flight paths and entry points
  • whether the drones were carrying surveillance equipment or payloads

Search operations are underway to recover debris from the neutralised drones for technical analysis.

Background of Drone Threats

Drone intrusions along the LoC have been flagged repeatedly in recent years, often linked to cross-border attempts at surveillance or smuggling. India has since upgraded its counter-drone capabilities and integrated layered air-defence systems in vulnerable areas.

Official Advisory

Authorities have urged citizens to avoid spreading unverified information or visuals related to the incident. A detailed official briefing is expected once the investigation is completed.
