Bigg Boss 19 contestant Tanya Mittal has officially secured the lead role in Ekta Kapoor’s upcoming show on Colors TV. The announcement was made during the Weekend Ka Vaar episode, where Ekta personally revealed her casting choice.
Ekta Kapoor, present on the BB19 stage to promote her new Balaji Astro App, confirmed that she has selected Amaal Mallik and Tanya Mittal for her next TV projects. This marks Tanya’s first major acting role post Bigg Boss.
Tanya became emotional as Ekta praised her potential and offered her the opportunity. Host Salman Khan added a light moment by jokingly asking how she would manage playing a “gareeb ladki”, leaving everyone laughing.
Ekta continues her trend of casting Bigg Boss contestants, previously choosing actors like Tejasswi Prakash and Pratik Sehajpal. Tanya Mittal now joins the list as the newest face to lead a Balaji show on Colors TV.
